Again, welcome to the latest incarnation of my website, which in the past I have been very slack in updating and now, I hope, I'll have a system that means I'll work on it more often.
I'm the author of six books in Australia (that have seen some bookshelves overseas as well), the first four being horror titles through Pan Macmillan called (in order of publication) Ghost Beyond Earth, A Place to Fear, Voices of Evil and The Devil's Numbers. Next came a serial killer book called Missing Pieces, released by Random House. My last book here was with Simon and Schuster titled And In The Morning, and it's an historical war novel set in the Great War that follows the lives of two brothers and a nurse from the Gallipoli campaign right through to Armistice Day in France- which isn't saying they all survive to see that day. You'll have to read the book to find out.
My wife Lisa and I live in a brilliant little town called Bridgetown in the southwest of Western Australia with our two dogs (below). It's the perfect place to write books, play music (since just about everyone who lives here is a musician, writer or artist) and be creative in some way. A "rich and famous" author I am not- unfortunately (but I'm working on it- there's nothing like a mortgage to keep you motivated!). Only a few Australian writers can claim to be living full-time off the proceeds of their novels. Instead, I play acoustic guitar and sing solo or in a band called "The Mix", and aside from my novels I write freelance articles for magazines, mainly technical reviews on studio recording software and hardware. I also dabble in producing voice-overs for a variety of companies and I've been recording some of my original songs with the dream that maybe they'll be heard one day. I have produced a CD "soundtrack" for And In The Morning which will be available as a download here soon.
This site will hopefully explain about myself, my writing, and give you an insight- for those who might be interested -into a writer's life and how I work. If you'd like to drop me an email, use mail@graemehague.com.au. I try and answer everything except abuse... eventually. I must admit, sometimes a few slip past me. Don't be afraid to try againLisa and myself.

Boston's a puppy here- he's now a fully-grown Great Dane at 3 years old and around 75 kilos. Maggie's since passed away at 14- a good run!
